Cemex is bringing forward an Outline Planning Application for the development of land to the west of Bull Lane, Eccles.

Our vision for the site is to deliver a modest number of high-quality new homes that contribute positively to the long-term sustainability of the local community. The proposals are designed to respond to identified local housing needs – particularly for family homes – while also enabling existing residents to move within the area, remain close to established support networks, and continue accessing local schools, services and amenities.
The emerging plans take a landscape-led approach, shaped by the character of the site and its surroundings. We are seeking to create a well-designed, welcoming neighbourhood that makes efficient use of land while providing generous public open space and high-quality play areas for children. At its heart, the development aims to support healthy lifestyles, strengthen community ties, and deliver environmental improvements that will benefit both new and existing residents.
